• Question: Can spiders carry diseases that can be air born????

      Gosh, I have no idea. I would guess that humans sneezing and coughing would be a much larger transmission of airborne infections than spiders.

      Hey Desmond,

      I have never hard of such a thing, but bacteria might be able to get on a spider and then become airborne. I would need to look into it a bit more before I found an actual disease. However, it is possible for bacteria and bad fungi to get into the bite mark from a spider.

      I don’t know of any diseases spread this way.

      I don’t think spiders can carry airborne diseases. Usually if a disease is airborne, it’s in the air rather than just on spiders.
