  Of a human? I have not. I have cut open a dead person’s brain, however.

  Yes, as part of medical school we do dissect a dead body of a person that donated their cadaver to science. This helps us to learn about the body like anatomy (body parts). I have also assisted in several surgeries including delivering a baby by c-section, where I have helped a surgeon cut open parts of patient’s bodies.
