  The short answer: yes.
  
  The long answer: Cures for Alzheimer’s disease are already here! For example, I work on study called The A4 Study (http://a4study.org), which is a large experiment to test a medicine that might prevent people from ever getting Alzheimer’s disease. There are lots of similar experiments going on around the United States and Europe right now, with more every year. Very soon, we are going to figure out a cure that works with people who already have Alzheimer’s disease, so stay tuned! There’s a lot of reason to have hope.
