Question: How did you become interested in Japan? Do you have a relative living there?

  No relatives live in Japan (or are interested in Japan as far as I know). I became interested in Japan because I wanted to experience a new culture. I always liked stepping out of my comfort zone. Plus, I never learned about an Asian country in any of my classes, so I wanted something I knew nothing about! I always tell people to try to experience something new because you can learn a lot about yourself as a person.
