I always imagined myself and my friends as being velociraptors. They were very intelligent and very fast. What about you?

I can’t possibly defend this answer, but I’d be a Stegosaurus.

      Hi Candy2,

I would be a pterodactyl so I could fly and as a bonus I’d be more evolved than other dinosaurs. 🙂

      I’d be a hummingbird. 😉

Dinosaurs can be classified into the avian-dinosaurs and the non-avian dinosaurs. Birds are non-avian dinosaurs, so technically are living dinosaurs! And hummingbirds are wonderful! I love their squeaky chirp, teeny-tiny eggs, amazing flight patterns, and really cool sexual dimorphism (males can have extremely wonderful colors and ornaments: http://www.boredpanda.com/hummingbird-bird-photography/).

Also, because I study evolution, and have a small child, I have to comment that Pteranodons are not actually dinosaurs (they are flying reptiles: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pteranodon), nor are they actually “more evolved”. They went extinct with the other non-avian dinosaurs. So, the only group that has continued to evolve are the birds.
