My favorite thing is to learn new information! I think that is often unappreciated about science – all of us sit down at our desks and find out something about the world that has never, ever been known before. It might be us testing out a hunch, or a complete accident. But every scientist spends their time working on things that are brand new. It’s never boring.

I too love learning new things and my job actually lets me do that daily. In a research sense I am always excited to learn about new statistical or math techniques to analyze my data.

I like to learn about the clinical applications to my research. I really do not know too much about medicine, so it is always nice to be able to apply my research to it.

Everything! One of the best things about being a scientist is routinely getting to meet with people who study new and different things.
