  I have been embarrassed in public so many times that I don’t really get so embarrassed anymore. But there are dozens of times that I have done something embarrassing in front of other people.
  
  One time, I was in a play, Romeo and Juliet. I was going through puberty and I tried to say a line on stage but my voice squeaked really, really loudly. I thought I could get away with it until I saw how hard the crowd was laughing. Some people *actually* fell out of their chairs, and some people waiting to go on stage missed their cues because they were laughing, too.
  
  Soooo, yeah, I have been embarrassed in public.

  I routinely bump into stuff, spill things… I have coordination challenges.
  
  Recently I was giving a presentation at a fancy research university, and I spilled my entire water bottle – everyone thought I got it all over my computer because I also managed to disconnect my computer from the project at the same time – it was dead silent in the room while everyone held their breath. But, it was all alright. Whew. 🙂
