      Hi Fruit Loop! I had fun chatting with you on Monday!

      My favorite thing about being a scientist is being able to follow my own curiosity. I study Alzheimer’s disease, which seems really specific, but there’s a million things I could do experiments on if I wanted. In many ways, I get to be my own boss – I only study the parts of Alzheimer’s disease that I find most interesting.

      And more than that, I get to explore and discover and learn brand-new facts about the world that were never, ever known before I asked the question. I think science is exactly like being an explorer. There’s so much to see that no one’s seen!
